Positive counts: you are in advantage, negative counts: just bet the minimum. Additionally I should state that you have a 'running count' and a 'true count' which is the running count divided by the games left in the shoe. They make too much money to risk a law suit for something like that. They will ask you to leave or stop playing blackjack usually somewhat politely. Forget about playing the blackjck machines. They are set up for you to lose. Also forget about playing the table games that have the continual shuffler. That's the large machine which keeps shuffling the cards after each hand not the one that gives you the red deck then the black deck on the shoe games, that one is fine.
