NBC’s Aubrie Lemon

NBC’s Aubrie Lemon

The February 2006 spotlight is on model and actress Aubrie Lemon. She’s a southern babe who’s been featured in Playboy. You’re sure to see more and more of her as she works her way into the acting world. Look for her in this month’s episodes of the TV game show Deal or no Deal on NBC.

Citynet Magazine: Tell us about your youth.

Aubrie Lemon: I did it ALL when I was younger. I was captain of the tennis and cross-country teams, President of Student Government and Students Against Drunk Driving, played piano and harp, and was a beach lifeguard. But OF COURSE there was always time for boys!

How did you get into modeling?

I did a little fashion show at the local mall, and an agent gave me their business card.aubrie-lemon-3

What gig(s) has been the most influential in boosting your career?

To be honest, everything has been an influence towards building my career; you learn the fundamentals: How to pose, who’s legit, what jobs are worth the money. Any job can “boost” your career, it’s just being in the right place at the right time.

How did you get into acting?

By accident, haha! This guy e-mailed me about an Indy film they were producing. Turns out it was a real deal, and I went to Costa Rica to film for a month!

Tell us about your experiences on E! and the Travel Channel.

I was doing an event in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and E! was there to film for “Wild on the Islands.” We had so much fun! They filmed us kayaking, playing volleyball, etc… For “Celebrities Uncensored,” the E! Crew was at the Playboy Mansion where I did an interview with Art Mann.

Worst experience up to now?

Almost getting arrested for being topless down on the beach! Warning: the cops in Laguna Beach have NO MERCY for naked girls! Haha!

Have people recognized you on the street based on your celebrity status?

No one has recognized me on the street as far as I know! I’ve gotta tell you… I don’t look like these pictures in real life! I don’t wear makeup, I don’t do my hair; I look like every other girl walking down the street. :-)

What’s it like partying with the Playboy gang?

Fun!! [Editor’s note: <Sigh> If only…]

What’s the most common question that people ask you?

“Can you get me in to the Playboy Mansion?” [Editor’s note: Ditto the last editor’s note!]

Favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere tropical, where I can hang out on a bikini from dawn til dusk and not hear a cell phone all day!

What do you want the world to know about you?

I really DO have a brain! Haha!

It’s 12:01am. What are you doing?

Answering e-mails.

Favorite body part on men? On your own body?

Ankles and ankles… hands down! 😉

Upcoming projects?

A new game show on NBC called “Deal or No Deal!” I’m so excited! The first shows air after the Olympics.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Who knows! I’ve stopped trying to predict my future, as every “prediction” I’ve made has had to be revised! As long as I’m enjoying whatever it is I’ll be doing in 10 years… that’s a good place to be. :-)

Where are you from/live now?

I’m from Flagler Beach, FL (which I love and will move back to someday)…. now living in the BIG city, Los Angeles!
