Montreal Geek-themed Burlesque Show “Burlesgeek” Founder Lulu Belles Mirettes

Burlesque continues to make a comeback in Montreal. The city is showing renewed interest in the exciting performances of these talents.  While big shows have become popular (such as the Montreal Burlesque Festival), the smaller, more niche events are also taking off. The number and types of shows have expanded dramatically and with such a wide selection, it was only a matter of time until we got Burlesgeek!

Enter: Lulu Belles Mirettes. She combined her love of geekery and burlesque by founding the Burlesgeek show. Every few months, a different theme is chosen (e.g., video games, Hugo Weaving, etc.)  and some of the acts really fall into the topic quite nicely.

While there is a wide range of shows that have appeared over the last couple of years, this is a show you definitely want to experience. I actually first heard about the Burlesgeek show at Montreal Comiccon 2014 so I was excited for Tom to interview Lulu at Montreal Comiccon 2015. Find out more in this exclusive interview with Lulu!
