Glamour Model Holly Weber

Glamour Model Holly Weber

Glamour model Holly Weber is a brainy beauty who’s studying to be an orthodontist. She got started as a sexy go-go dancer in Las Vegas nightclubs and has since been featured in loads of promotions including calendars, her own Benchwarmer trading card, and a feature in FHM magazine where she was named the planet’s #1 date. Check out this exclusive interview and find out about her interests in women and why she doesn’t recommend the Lingerie Bowl.

Citynet Magazine: Tell us about your youth.

Holly Weber: I was a fast runner growing up, but never participated in organized sports because I needed to focus on school as I moved around a lot. I didn’t really notice boys all that much in high school. I had fun with my girlfriends and didn’t date much at all.

What are you currently studying?

I’m currently studying biology and hope to transfer to a school for dentistry to be an orthodontist.

How did you get into modeling?

I started go-go dancing in Hollywood and Las Vegas night clubs when I was 18 (go-go dancing is like a cheerleader for dance clubs), and was approached many times, but had braces on until just last year. So far it has been lots of fun and is helping to pay my way through school.

How did you get into go-go dancing?

When I was only 18, the only way I could get into the high end Vegas night clubs was to dress HOT and generally, they would welcome me with open arms. I didn’t care to drink, only to dance to the trademark House and Trance music Las Vegas is famous for. One day, a girl saw me and put me in touch with the ‘Queen’ of go-go dancers in Hollywood, Julianna, and she gave me work for the next few years while I had my braces on. I love dancing in clubs because I get to wear really sexy costumes and have my own box to dance on, so I don’t have to deal with the crowd.

What type of music do you prefer dancing to?

Most definitely trance, house, things with a heavy fast beat. It is high energy and a good mix will do most of the work for me.

Describe your Lingerie Bowl experiences. Good, bad, or ugly?

Good, bad and ugly. I had a great time promoting for them last year, but after 9 months of work, they decided not to honor their contract and I didn’t get paid a dime for my efforts. After that came about, I got dozens of emails from girls who had even worse experiences than I did, so I was happy to not participate in the game. A friend of mine almost broke her neck in a preliminary game and they wouldn’t even pay for a doctor to look at it. I wouldn’t recommend it to any girl who is planning on a serious modeling career.

FHM called you the #1 Date of the Month. Meet any quality men from that feature?

Actually, I haven’t had a chance to meet anyone directly through FHM regarding that feature. I have had quite a few guys who saw the article come up to me, but only to congratulate me or just to say hello.

How does it feel to be one of the hottest Benchwarmer trading cards?

Well, just to be a Benchwarmer girl makes me feel great. All of them are equally hot. Great models, great photographer and the mastermind behind it, Brian Wallos makes a superior product that even athletes are envious of. I’ve been to some functions with the Benchwarmer girls and they are all really nice and fun to be with. I didn’t see a bit of jealousy or competition whatsoever.

What kind of feedback do you get from being on so many calendars?

I was on the cover of BetUs.com, the first calendar I shot for, last year and have gotten great feedback from friends and fans. Next year, I will be in or on about 15 different calendars, including my own.

Best experience so far?

Oh my god, there are so many great experiences this past year. Probably the most unique of them would be driving a NASCAR in Charlotte, NC at over 150mph.

Worst experience so far?

The first photo shoot I did after getting my braces off was with a sleazebag who was quietly shooting photos while I was adjusting myself and clothing, in an attempt to get some partially nude shots. He posted them under an “assumed” name on a pornographic site and someone came across them, informed my mother and she thought I was out in California doing porn or something horrible like that. I’ll probably never live that down. I never go to a shoot without a chaperone now.

Have people recognized you on the street? Any life changes due to your ‘fame’?

Surprisingly, yes. I don’t think I have done all that much yet, but I actually had three flight attendants on a flight from Costa Rica to Panama ask for my autograph. I can’t imagine people from other countries knowing who I am, let alone recognizing me. I still haven’t made any changes in my life. I still don’t think I am remotely close to being ‘famous’.

Has anyone ever run up to you in the street and brought you flowers?

Not yet. It sounds strange, but I love gardening in my spare time to relax, but am not really a big fan of receiving flowers.

How do you compare your life in Newport Beach to Fox TV’s The OC?

Well, no one in my family are swingers, my friends haven’t all slept with each other and my car hasn’t exploded lately, so there isn’t much correlation between the two. My life is the absolute opposite of the OC as far as drama is involved. I have a small group of mellow, down to earth friends who don’t gossip much and enjoy each others company when we have the time to hang out.

Do you play poker/play casino games while in Las Vegas?

I play slots on rare occasion. I don’t know much about gambling, and since I don’t have much money to lose, I can’t take chances. I do like to watch people gambling because they all get very excited and sometimes it is great to see someone beat the odds.

What’s the most common question that people ask you?

“How do you stay so thin?”. I’m not sure if they think I have some magic elixir or something, but I simply eat right and religiously workout and stretch. It is more difficult than I am stating, but I am pretty focused.

Have you ever been interested in women?

Absolutely, haven’t you? Women are softer and sexier than men, so they are great fun to look at and quite enjoyable to cuddle with. There are great things to be had from both women and men. Perhaps I will find a hybrid that has everything I want someday.

Are you a big partier?

I hate to disappoint you, but I am the least ‘big partier’ of all the girls I work with, especially out in Vegas. Things get so out of hand there, but nobody cares at all. In fact, the party girls are the ones making all the money. Fortunately, my long term plan is quite different from theirs, so I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything.

Name anyone, alive or dead, who you would love to get to know.

This may surprise you, Oprah Winfrey. I would love to talk to her about her meager beginnings and the sacrifices she had to make to get to where she is today. She beat the odds in so many different ways, I can’t help but to respect her.

What do you want the world to know about you?

HELLO WORLD! What you see is what you get. I am proud to be able to say the photos you see accurately depict how I look in real life.

Favorite body part (on you and on a guy)?

On me? My breasts, I suppose. After all the girls I have seen in the past year, I am very happy with my body, but mostly with how my breasts look (and feel J). There is a fine line between having a curvy, womanly body (high body fat) and having muscular definition (where you lose breast volume). I am trying to teeter in the middle somewhere.

On a man? Eyes and Arms. The piercing eyes to draw me in from a distance and the strong arms to hold me tight.

Favorite upcoming projects?

Yoga4Dudes from Stuff4Dudes.com. I’m not sure why it hasn’t taken off faster. It is funny, sexy and smart. Probably the most ingenious project I have worked on yet. Also, I am in the running for Miss FHM this year and am hoping to be in the next several issues for one thing or another. I will be trying my hand at acting this summer, so who knows what projects I will be a part of soon.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully, completing my degree to be an Orthodontist. Perhaps filming “Yoga4Dudes VIII”, and starring in a cheeseball television comedy, or maybe on the Cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and walking the runway for Victoria Secret.
