The seventh edition of the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival kicked off in great form last Thursday evening. The event took place at Tohu, Montreal’s wonderful circus arts theatre complex. The show I attended was the world premiere of Flip Fabrique’s latest production, Transit.
Montreal Mayor Coderre in Attendance
Mayor Denis Coderre was present amongst several dignitaries for the opening ceremony. After a few speeches, the show began.
A Taste of This Wonderful Show
This is just a touch of what you will experience at the Flip Fabrique show.
World Renown Flip Fabrique Dazzles Audience
Flip Fabrique, a world renowned circus troupe from Quebec City brought their contagious energy and spunk and left the audience dazzled. As they say in French, this troupe is “polyvalente”: hoops, pins, diabolos, trampolines and and of course, acrobatic flips – these guys can do it all, and do it well.
The five men and single woman in the group will get you your money’s worth with fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and a physical prowess that are guaranteed to take your breath away.
Free Circus Shows Around Montreal
Flip Fabrique has several scheduled performances throughout this amazing festival, which runs until the 17th of July in several venues, along with outdoor events across the city.
Montréal Complètement Cirque is the fruit of the passion and love for the circus that runs deep in the heart of every Quebecer. Montreal is the the best of what circus can offer. Take advantage of both their free and paid events and go check it out!
