This babe conquered her fear of being in front of the camera and is now getting booked for photoshoots non-stop… and we can see why! Find out her secret to keep her sexy, voluptuous body looking the way it does, her favorite places to party and a lot more in this exclusive interview. Enjoy!
Where did you grow up?
I’m originally from Fort Collins Co. I’ve lived in Tulsa and many different cities in WA. I actually just moved from Bellingham to Seattle. I loved Bellingham. It’s a great town and reminds me much of Fort Collins, but Seattle is a great place too. Much Bigger!
Where’s home?
As far as where I call home… I’m not sure yet! I love traveling and know Washington is not my final resting place. I think maybe in the next year I’d like to live in AZ. Get out of the rain. I guess you can just call me a Gypsy hahaha!
How did you get into modeling?
I’ve always been told I should pursue modeling. I did a bit when I was 14, but wanted to concentrate on school, although modeling has always been what I’m most passionate about. Over the last few years I had been asked to do several modeling projects. I just couldn’t get enough! I feel so fortunate to be able to do what I love.
What is it about modeling that excites you?
So much of modeling is exciting. I love meeting new people in the industry. I love helping promote upcoming designers with their clothing lines and doing runway. I can’t explain how exciting it is to see the outcome of the images. There is a lot to it more than most realize. In one photo there is a a talented photographer, mua [editor’s note: make-up artist], designer, set, etc. Not just a model in front of a camera. It’s very gratifying to produce an image the whole crew can be proud of. Modeling has opened up so many avenues and everyday seems like an adventure!
What type of photoshoot would you love to do?
I have always wanted to do a desert shoot. Something with a long road and desert mountains. I like to think of story lines when doing location shoots. In this particular one, I imagine me heading out of town, maybe run out of gas. It’s hot and sunny I’m in cut off jean shorts on the side of the road. Something cool like that. Also though I and underwater shoot would be amazing!
What gig has boosted your career the most so far?
I don’t know that I can pick just one. I work hard at promoting myself. Being in magazines though is awesome and gives me the most exposure. So THANK YOU CITYNET MAGAZINE! [Editor’s Note: You’re welcome! We’re happy to have you on board with us!]
What do you think is your sexiest body part?
My brain! I’m proud of my whole body. Being a model part of the job is keeping in shape. It’s not always easy to stay in shape when you have big of sweet tooth as I do!!
How do you maintain your hot body?
I do at least an hour of cardio four to five times a week. I like taking the classes at my gym for variety. Spinning, yoga, Zumba-mostly to get my dance on. I make sure to do a good 30 min ab work out as well. I run with my dog too, she’s the best running buddy a girl could have. Oh and very important SQUATS to keep my booty in shape.
Are you a party girl?
I do like to go out every once in awhile and club it up. I prefer going to a pub and enjoying a good beer though. One of my favorite places is an Irish pub. Not just cause I’m Irish… I like the atmosphere and crowd it attracts. And they make a mean Tequila Refresher!
Are you more of a guy’s girl or a girl’s girl?
I think most people would say I’m a guys girl, but I enjoy being around both! I grew up with three sisters, no brothers. So I love my girl time and never am too old to play dress up. But sometimes it’s just nice to be around my guy friends. It’s a total different conversation and I can be a goof along with them.
How old were you when you first discovered that men would melt in your presence?
I remember being 14, freshman year of high school. My older sister was a senior and her guy friends were like DAMN your lil sis! I think I have always had a way talking to men. I’m down to earth so easy to be around but I’ve been told I’m coy and I think that leaves a little mystery. Guys like mystery right?
What’s a fun first date for you?
I think a fun date would involve a boat on a sunny summer day crabbing, then cooking it right there on the beach.
Any foods you’d love to have on that date?
Ideally I would eat garlic. I love garlic, if I feel like the first date may end in a kiss though I’ll skip it unless he eats it too. Dungeness crab is my favorite.
What’s your dream job?
Modeling Duh! Or a professional traveler. I want to see every square foot of mother earth. Is that even a job though? Other than modeling I’d be a professional singer/musician. Music is my other passion.
What single item would you want if you were stranded on a deserted island.
Definitely not a bikini. I wouldn’t want any tan lines would I? I’d bring some sort of music device with a never ending battery, I can’t live without my tunes… or my dog! She is my bff. I know I know that’s like three things. Just call me high maintenance.
What do you do in your downtime?
Downtime I’m all about blasting music having a one person dance parties. I like to cook and read too. My wardrobe attire at home usually consists of boy shorts and t shirts with tube socks. I have a tube sock obsession and recently got some thigh high tube socks they are Rad.
You win the lottery. what do you do with the money?
First I would buy everyone in my family a house and car of their choice. Next I would donate my time to charity and doing missionary work around the world. I would like to form some sort of secret organization that investigates people/families in need. I would knock on doors of the ones in need and leave them a box with a generous amount of money. I wouldn’t stick around to see them open the box, although that would be priceless maybe just leave a note saying yes the money really is for you and I would just want them to know someone is looking out for them. It’d be awesome to do random things like buy a coffee and leave a $500 tip for the barista.
Give us a fun fact about you.
I love underground hip hop! That’s where the true talent is. I used to go to this small venue to see Mackelmore. Way before he was famous! He always put on the funniest shows. I’m to see he finally got the fame he deserves.
Worst pick-up line used on you?
Where do I even start?! Pick up lines I hear are never amazing. Once this guy came up to me and asked if I sold vitamins… I replied with a confused no.. He then said, “oh dang I was hoping to get a chewable form of you.” All I could think was you want to eat me?
Give us at least one thing every man should know.
Confidence is key. Do not confuse this with cockiness. If you like a girl go for it!
Name anyone, alive or dead, who you would love to meet.
I would love to meet Mother Teresa. She has the most amazing mind! I really enjoy reading her wisdom and quotes.
Give a shout out to your fans…
Hey all you Mindy supporters I would like to say thank you for all the encouragement! You make my day everyday with your kind compliments. I truly enjoy hearing from you. Hope you like this piece with Citynet Mag as much as I liked help putting it together.
Favorite upcoming projects?
I have a lingerie runway show coming up! I’m super excited, a bit nervous, but hopefully I rock it. Also I’m going to be on Rafael Inc T-shirts! So all my lovely fans can sport me around town! Awesome!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I hope to still be in the entertainment industry. Somewhere sunny. Other than that his is a hard question for me because I live one day at a time. I’m kind of like a gypsy in that way. As long as its a good road I’ll be happy with wherever it takes me.
