This month we’re excited to feature curvaceous plus-size model Heather Vesley in an exclusive interview!
Where are you from/live now?
I grew up in a small town near Ithaca, NY. I lived in Atlanta for 7 years but now I’m back in Upstate NY.
What’s your family background?
I am part German and part French.
How did you get into modeling?
I started modeling with some small time photographers for fun. Mainly so I could have pictures to hand out to my fans. Then I moved to Atlanta and things blew up. There was definitely a need for curvy Caucasian females when I first started.
What is it about modeling that excites you?
I love the glamour aspect of it. I love the makeup, the hair, the outfits. I love how it forces you out of your comfort zone and you can be someone else for the day.
Favorite modeling gigs so far?
I’ve posed nude for art battles… that was exciting! I also love the body paint gigs.
Favorite music video appearance so far?
“Booty call” by Flawless.
What do you think is your sexiest body part?
I like my feet. I love getting pedicures and I like the way my toe rings look!
What’s your dream job?
How long can you stay away from your cell phone without going crazy?
I think we’re all too consumed with our cell phones. I went on a cruise for a week and I couldn’t use my phone. That was a very relaxing time.
Name anyone, alive or dead, who you would love to meet.
Hmm… this is a hard one. I can’t think of a specific person but it would definitely be a celebrity that has a busy career, kids, a great body, and seems grounded. I would ask them their secret to how they get it all done. What’s their motivation?
Give us a fun fact about you.
My dad raised me and I’m a big tomboy because of that.
Worst pick-up line used on you?
“Are you from Tennessee? Because you’re the only ten I see!”
Tell us one thing every man should know about women.
We’re actually pretty easy to please. Just listen to us and give us your time.
Give a shout out to your fans…
I love all my fans. Thank you for sticking by me through the ups and downs and understanding that I’m a real person. Most of my fans have told me that they love how I don’t seem fake and that they appreciate how I share my real life. I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. So… thank you for being real!
Favorite upcoming projects?
I am doing a prenatal maternity shoot in the snow with a local photographer. I’m 27 weeks pregnant and I’ve been doing a lot of shoots so that I can share this step in my life. I also have an upcoming body paint shoot down in Atlanta.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Concentrating on fitness modeling.
