5 Reasons the Law of Attraction Doesn’t Work For You (Part 3)

One of the nifty side effects of understanding the Law of Attraction is that you soon realize that, for it to exist at all, one thing must be true. That you are suppose to have everything you want.

You are the center of the universe. Everything does revolve around you. When you accept that intellectually and emotionally without the sting of guilt or the taint of unworthiness a giddiness washes over you. In a moment of clarity you realize that this is all a game set up for the fun of it. You can relax and play it, and if you land on Boardwalk and have to cough up two grand for hotel rent, well… you don’t take it so much to heart.

Without further pomp, here’s reason number three of why the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you.

3. You’re Trying Too Hard

If you believe the Law of Attraction is like the Law of Gravity, universal and ubiquitous, then it should be easy to leverage.

More importantly, your natural state is to be happy, healthy and wise. Laughter comes spontaneously, you don’t have to force it. Your body grows and heals itself without you having to direct it. Your understanding of the world increases simply by existing. These are all indications that well-being and self-organization is the order of the universe.

Trying contains within it the notion of success and failure. Do or not do, there is no try. Do you try to breathe? Do you try to digest your food? Do you try to beat your heart? No, of course not. It just happens. Like the clouds forming, or the sun rising, or the expansion of the universe.

The Law of Attraction is like that. Just know it’s there and acknowledge when you notice the correlation between your thoughts, emotions and what you experience and before you know it it’ll be second nature. You did the same when you learned to walk. You did the same when you learned to throw a ball. So do it for this. It is easy.

You can prove it to yourself too. All it takes is a desire to look around at all the things that are working out for you without you having to lift a finger. The sun rises every day to greet you regardless of what the government is doing. The air is there for you to breathe without you having to tell the plants to process the atmosphere. Your body grows all on it’s own. The entire universe has come to the point of bring you into being, certainly it has the ability to create a little more abundance for you.

But maybe that’s too esoteric for some of you. Fine. Then go to your local bookstore or library and start reading biographies of those who you consider to be successful. See how they have an unwavering conviction that they will eventually succeed in their tasks. Or how out of the clear blue sky some astronomically improbable opportunity presented itself to them. Relax, dudes and dudettes. Everything really is set up so that you can have the best of everything.
