I was recently invited to a launch party for 155 Fahrenheit, a restaurant at the edge of the Old Port in Old Montreal. Thanks to Ashley Rosenberger of Rose PR, the place was packed with 200 of the city’s media peeps, influencers, foodies, and the like.
A Hip Vibe in Old Montreal
155 Fahrenheit is located in one of the most recent restaurant hotspots in Montreal. The Old Port and Old Montreal vibe has changed a lot in recent years with the entire re-development of the area and construction of condos. The hip residents of this neighbourhood and the many tourists who will be nearby throughout the summer will be sure to stop in to try this latest addition to the Montreal restaurant and bar scene.
The Best Part
The restaurant itself is simply decorated, with a decent selection of wine, a bar, and great street views for people watchers like myself. To me, the number one draw to 155 Fahrenheit is the bison burger.
As I’ve mentioned in other articles and on my little under-the-photo descriptions on Instagram, I’m a burger snob. Now I’ll say this without hesitation, the best part of this restaurant were the remarkably delicious bison burgers. A mix of bison, buffalo mozzarella and cherry BBQ sauce, they hit the spot.
Should you go?
If you’re looking for a great burger in the Old Montreal area, I suggest giving 155 Fahrenheit a try. Similarly, if you’re looking for a good meetup spot, perhaps for lunch or for drinks, it is equally worth a visit.
