Fight or flight? How about both? Droneswarm is a 2D side-scrolling shooter that encourages you to dominate the sky, clearing it of variable enemies, picking up enhancements along the way.
If there’s one thing I appreciate in this game, is that the power-ups are divvied out based on your accuracy. There’s no coasting through this one. You’ve got to learn how to move and, most importantly, learn how your attackers attack. (Hint: When dealing with a blast of enemy fire moving in a radius, stick to the corners of the sky.)
Excellent visuals! The graphics are bright, clean and smooth. It’s fun to watch the dynamics of your ship as it darts back and forth through the air. It’s one ol those games that starts off as seemingly impossible to beat, but you improve rapidly enough to keep you coming back for more.
