Jinni Helps You Find Movies To Watch

Love watching movies? So do I. I’m always looking to add new films to my movie watch list. Since there aren’t enough new releases to satisfy my passion, I often find myself hunting for movies I’ve seen – and hopefully movies I’ve missed.

The internet has allowed many cinephiles to delve deeper into their passion for film. Discovering movies has become even easier now that information is connected, indexed and served up just the way you like it.

Since I pulled the plug on cable TV, and migrated my video entertainment to my desktop and mobile device, I’ve begun consuming my favourites films at an incredible rate. Luckily, I’m the type of person who can watch the same movie a hundred times, so long as I have variety. The volume of digital media that I deal with makes it easy to forget the details of particular movies.

I am always on the lookout for ways of discovering movies I haven’t seen as well as rediscovering movies I may have missed or those I’ve forgotten about. Until recently, I had it made with Clerkdogs. It has since been bought out.

And so, as it goes, number two becomes number one. But it’s a darn good replacement for my movie woes and works a hell of a lot better than IMDB’s recommendation engine.

Jinni.com is the best movie recommendation engine I’ve used so far. It blows the competition away with recommendations that actually relate to your starting movie. It also includes TV shows which is handy if you don’t discriminate.

Like many such sites, you can filter your results by genre and sort by date, relevance, etc. Unlike other sites, you can browse by mood, praise, audience and more. Helpful if you don’t know what exactly you’d like to watch.

There’s more to Jinni. You can create an account to determine your movie personality. You can connect to your Netflix account for better recommendations. You can join the community of cinephiles there.

If you’re looking for the best place for movie recommendations online, try Jinni.com
