College Coed Sydney Bosworth

College Coed Sydney Bosworth

Actress and knock-out model Sydney Bosworth has been called stunning, babelicious, to die for, and, well, you get the picture. CitynetMagazine proudly presents this awesome college girl’s interview!

Where do you call home?
I am originally from Fairfax, Virginia but I have spent most of my life in Houston, Texas where I currently live.

How did you get into modeling?
I have always wanted to be in the entertainment industry. I have been taking acting and dancing class since I was 6. I got into modeling about a year ago after I did promotional work for South 35 Entertainment. At the time I was going to Baylor University in Waco, Texas so I put my modeling career on hold since most work was over an hour away from where I lived. I decided to move back to Houston in February of this year to not only continue my education but also to pursue a career in modeling. I started from nothing, slowly building my portfolio and then I got named one of the Houston Hotties. I joined their promotional team and from there started getting more work. From there I started doing more photo shoots and was featured in music videos. I am still up and coming but I am hoping my hard work will eventually pay off.

What is it about modeling that excites you?
I love modeling. Everything about it excites me. My favorite part would probably be when I get in front of the camera. For some reason every time I am in front of a camera it brings out my fire within.

What kind of photoshoot would you love to do?

I would love to do a pin-up style photo shoot. I have done pin-ups before but I would love to do ones that look more artistic than real. I think it would be amazing if I did a pin up with a vintage car or motorcycle. I love pin up work and I would love to add pin-ups to my portfolio.

How did you get into acting?
I have always been into acting. When I was young, my cousins and I would always put on plays for the family. Every summer I would go to an acting camp at the local theatre house. That is where I developed my passion for acting. Since then I have gone to numerous acting schools to learn different techniques and styles. I did my first national commercial when I was 13. At 19, despite my family’s indifference, I decided that acting and modeling was definitely the career path for me.

Best promotional work you’ve done so far?

My favorite job so far has to be when I shot “To be a Trojan Man”, a music video for Trojan Condom’s safe sex campaign. It was a lot of fun to shoot and the video was hilarious. It was a mockery of rap videos.  Instead of throwing money around they threw out gold condoms. Also, we all had bikinis made out of condom wrappers.  It was a very different and fun experience for me!

Give us a fun fact about you.

I don’t know if this is exactly a fun fact, but I have a slight speech impediment and I can’t say the word breakfast. It always comes out bref- kist. Most people find it cute. I try to avoid saying it.

Worst pick-up line used on you?

Yuck!  Who uses pick-up lines anymore? Just start a nice conversation by saying hello.

Tell us about your best night out partying…
I would have to say it was Spring Break in Cancun ’08. My best friend and I went to Cancun and we went to this club called “The City” to see Akon in concert. Somehow, we got lost going to the restroom and ended up in VIP. A bottle of Grey Goose later, it became one of the best party nights ever. Luckily we brought a camera so the next morning my friend and I could see how good of a time we actually had!

What celebrity would you love to meet?
I would have to say Lady Gaga. Not only do I love her music but I love her style. She is such an individual. I love that!

What upcoming projects can we look forward to?
I am currently launching a website that will sell posters. I hope to expand to a men’s clothing line in the future. I am currently the November poster girl for Streetseen magazine with more magazine features to come. I have big dreams and work very hard to achieve them, so keep a look out for me and my upcoming projects!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself with a career in modeling and acting and hopefully starting a family. My main goal in life is to be happy and what would make me happy is having a successful career while having a family of my own.
