Citynet Magazine: Enlighten us to your younger years.
Rosalinde Tropper: I was more of a tomboy, I never played with Barbies (never even owned one) and had mainly “boy” friends. I loved climbing trees and doing naughty things to our neighbors such as ringing their doorbells and then hiding behind the bushes!
Were you active as a kid?
Oh yes I was. I couldn’t wait to come home from school and have snowball fights with my friends and go sleighing off into the snow. Sometimes I didn’t come home til late at night. We’d go everywhere! In the summertime I really enjoyed riding my Pony that I got as a birthday present from my parents-of course roller blading and bicycling and everything else that had to do with the outdoors was something I loved doing every day as well! Thank God for no computers then!
Did the boys love/hate/tease you in high school?
I wouldn’t say boys hated me but I know they didn’t love me! Again, I was a tomboy! I didn’t even start putting on make-up until I was 17 years old! I was teased a few times in 1st grade. Boys made fun of my bicycle I rode to school with. It was one of those really cool bikes with the banana seat and it was yellow, too as I recall! They’d sit on it and bounce it around while it was parked in one of those bicycle stands- I remember telling the teacher and they stopped! Bad Boys!
How did you get into impersonating?
I started impersonating Pamela Anderson about 6 years ago! I never even heard of her until people started telling me that I looked like her. And that’s when I looked into it further and kinda saw the resemblance! I’ve always had the blonde long hair and the bigger chest so nothing was enhanced to resemble her except for putting on the blue contacts when I do a lookalike gig since I have hazel/green eyes naturally!
How old were you? What made you stick with it?
I was about 22 years old when I started impersonating Pamela. I really enjoy impersonating her character because I think she’s beautiful, smart and successful!
What kind of parties are you most often hired for?
The gigs I am hired for are usually for big corporate events such as someone’s retirement (CEO from a big company), Christmas parties for about 300 people, new business openings, etc… I don’t really do small, private gigs due to customer’s smaller budget and I also have agents that deal with the customers directly!
Describe the craziest private parties you have been hired for.
I really haven’t experienced anything too crazy, again everything is pretty much put together by one of my agents and each “proposal” is entirely checked out! Of course, I’ve had numerous “proposals” from various “clients” contacting me directly asking for my availability for private gigs, bachelor parties, etc. Again, that is something I wouldn’t be interested in doing. I feel very safe going thru my agents and haven’t had a bad experience yet!
What goes on?
The gigs usually run 2 hours, 3 hours max- many times other lookalikes will be hired at the same time, too which is always a lot of fun! My job is to pose for pictures with the people and to mix and mingle with the crowd, basically having a great time while being paid.
How often are you mistaken for Pamela Anderson?
I get a lot of double takes when in LA, especially on the weekends! People will stare and talk to each other the minute I walk in somewhere. Many times they’ll ask me for autographs and have me pose for pictures. I’ll always say that I’m not her of course but once in a while they’ll insist that I am her and I’ll go along with it… why not, if it makes them happy:) I remember once while vacationing in Germany, one of the McDonalds employees practically fell through the drive-thru windows to hand me a paper and pen for an autograph! I kept telling her that I wasn’t her but she insisted and so did the rest of her crew- I finally did… god, did I make her day! I had no idea Pam was such a hit there, too!
What changes in your life would you say are due to your looking like her?
I really can’t say there’s been too much of a change in my life looking like her except for it actually hindering me somewhat in my acting career! Many times while called onto a set the director would have the make-up artist change my make-up or hair due to too much resemblance. I guess it’s not always a good thing to look like someone famous.
What’s the most common question that people ask you?
The most common questions I hear just about daily are: “Has anyone ever told you you look like Pamela Anderson?” or “I’m sure you’ve heard this many times, but do you know who you look like?”
What’s your greatest talent?
I think one of my greatest talents is the ambition/independence I have in life! I believe in living your life to the fullest, to enjoy life as much as you can and to not allow people to run your life for you!
What has been the best experience in your job?
The best experience in my job has been meeting all the other great Impersonators out there!
What has been the worst experience in your job?
There really hasn’t been a bad experience!
What was it like working on the set of TV shows like Pamela Anderson’s VIP?
I’ve done numerous stand-in work for several celebrities including that of Pam on the Show VIP. I had a great time while working on the set. The most notable role I had in a recent movie was in the movie “Close Call.” I had a bit part across from actor Kurt Russell, great guy!
What do you want the world to know about you?
I’d like the world to know that I’m a great person, that I have a big love for all animals and that I’d be a great addition to the Entertainment World:)
What’s the greatest risk you have ever taken?
The greatest risk I have ever taken is opening my own Tanning Salon 3 years ago. It’s come a long way and I love it! One of the best decisions I’ve made!

Do women get catty around you?
Yeah, but once they get to know me they realize I’m very nice and they’re nice to me! Though once in a while there will be someone that’ll be catty no matter what… no matter how nice I am to them, that’s when I give up!
If you could have anything in the world, what would it be?
If there’s anything in the world I could change it would be to stop the torture of animals! It’s disgusting how so much abuse is still going on. How not enough is being done to prevent the pain so many animals still endure. That would be my ultimate dream!
Favorite place on the planet?
My favorite place on this planet is Germany! I spent my first 12 years of my life there and miss it sometimes. Though I can’t see myself ever moving back, I’d love to visit it more often. Last time I went to visit was almost 4 years ago!
Favorite vacation spot?
Again, I must say Europe. There’re actually several spots I love visiting such as Austria, Germany, Spain, Greece, and Italy. It’s just so awesome how you can visit all these countries within hours, sort of like Vegas is to us except for you get to experience the different cultures and languages from one drive to the next. And it’s just so amazing how you can plan to visit italy for a quick weekend adventure without planning years ahead of time 🙂

It’s 12:01am. What are you doing?
Talking to you right now 🙂 j/k-It all depends on the day. If it’s the weekend, I’m out with friends having a great time. Weekdays, I’m busy with paperwork, browsing the computer and cleaning house. I usually don’t go to bed until around 3am on weekdays and since it’s only 1am right now, I have another 2 hours left giving you the story of my life! Thong vs. regular undies, and why?
Actually, I haven’t worn either when wearing pants (they show when wearing low rise jeans). But overall I prefer thongs. I finally got used to the way they feel and they look so much sexier!

The chest! It’s like armor around you!
On your own body?
My butt. I’ve always been told that I have a great butt and I’ve grown to like it myself:)
What makes you feel sexy?
When I feel my very best. After a great workout and getting ready to go out.
A day spa, a flight in a F-15 fighter jet, or passionate animal-like sex?
A day spa. It’s THE most relaxing place to go to when in need for some pampering! Something I could use right now – haha.
What kind of guys are you into?
I’m not into wimps, but also not into hardcore muscle heads. Just somebody normal built (lean cut) with a sense of humor (but not over the top), definitely honesty is very important as well as sincerity!
What’s your policy on one night stands?
I guess not to have one to begin with (haha!). I’ve never been into quick relationships so I really can’t speak for myself. I need to feel comfortable and attracted to the person before going that route. I know way too many people that get into these situations only to feel upset and tremendous guilt afterwards, something I wouldn’t be interested in getting involved in. I guess I already have too much drama in my life as it is 🙂

No, too much drama! I’ve seen it happen several times and believe me, it never turns out good!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I’m hoping to see myself being successful with my Tanning Business, hopefully owning a chain of them, possibly a franchise! Of course becoming a famous celebrity at this point is another thing on my list as well as I do enjoy the entertainment industry tremendously- I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
