Dude, this game is one serious trip. Mono starts off slow but quickly kicks into high gear. The game is simple but challenging while still being a lot of fun to play.
It’s psychedelic feel and trippy dance music along side the animated technicolor backdrop are wild. The gameplay is excellent. Move your little orb around the screen to shoot at the circular globs around you. Pop them and their smaller spawn to keep yourself safe, but don’t forget to pick up your power-ups along the way. They’ll change your ammunition from firing double rounds to firing 6 shots at a time, spraying out like a fountain, emanating like an explosion around you and even bouncing off the walls!
