Montreal is known as the City of Festivals but few are as enormous or magnificent as Montreal Comiccon. The annual event was postponed due to the pandemic and finally makes its triumphant return this summer at the Palais des congrès (Montreal convention centre).
Taking place over three days, from July 8-10, 2022, it’s an event that is not to be missed for any fans of comic books, sci-fi, movies, TV, video games, fantasy, cosplay and costumes, geek-themed events, concerts, celebrity panel discussions, board game tournaments, celebrity meetings, artists, anime, manga, and so many more pop culture activities and events. You really have to experience the event to truly understand how remarkable it is.
Celebrating Tron, Star Trek, and More!
Ok, so I am biased because Tron: Legacy, with its stunning, under-rated visuals and Daft Punk soundtrack is being represented by the presence of Bruce Boxleitner! He is also known as Captain Sheridan in the phenomenal TV series Babylon 5.
Star Trek is also well represented by several actors including Malcolm McDowell (Star Trek Generations), Alice Krige (The Borg Queen), Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: discovery), and legendary writer Peter David (who has written comics and novels based on Star Trek).
Other guests also include, James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Smallville), Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter movies), Jim Beaver (Supernatural and Deadwood) 5); Elias Toufexis (The Expanse) and so many more!
