McKibbin’s – McKibbin’s Irish Pub, a little taste of Ireland in downtown Montreal. Three different bars with 3 different atmospheres. This place is happening and a lot of fun. It is one of the more traditional-feeling Irish pubs in Montreal.
Hurley’s – Hurley’s Irish Pub is one of Montreal’s best Irish pubs. It has a unique Irish atmosphere, 11 draft beers on taps, including Guinness, Smithwick’s and Tartan, and features pub grub including Guinness beef stew & roast beef.
Mclean’s – This Irish pub seems like more of a regular bar with an Irish touch. It’s list of draft beer is impressive and includes: Bass, Sterling, Labatt Blue, Boddington’s, Boreale Blonde, Boreale Rousse, Carlsberg, Guinness, Harp, Hoegaarden, Kilkenny, Keith’s IPA, Leffe Brown, Double Diamond, Mick’s Red, Ephimere, Smithwick’s, Stella Artois, Blanche de Chambly, and Mystique Cider.
The Old Dublin – The Old Dublin is Montreal’s oldest pub. It has a classic Irish atmosphere with frequent live music, about 17 domestic and imported beers on tap and 50 single malts. ive entertainment adds to the traditional Irish atmosphere. Only recently did they get a website. Their address is 1219 University street. Go in from the parking lot – back entrance. It’s near St. Catherine Street.
Ye Olde Orchard – Ye Olde Orchard is a neighborhood pub with an Irish flavor. It’s located in the “Monkland Village.” Villa Maria metro, then take the bus for a few stops or walk.
O’Regan’s was an Irish pub on Bishop Street. They had a large selection of imported beer, good pub grub and live music. No known website.
Pub Claddagh was another Irish pub where the occasional celebrity has been known to pop in. No known website.
