Hopefully you’ve been enjoying Citynet Magazine contributor Chris Bavota‘s daily horror movie reviews. If you’re into the more zombie side of horror, the Montreal Zombie Walk is for you!
What is it?
The Montreal Zombie Walk is an annual event where people dress up like zombies and walk around Downtown Montreal.
Where and when?
People want to get zombified with make-up should go to Place des Festivals in the Quartier des Spectacles area (outside of Place des Arts) between 12pm-3pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015. If you can do your own make-up, all the better.
There will be events and activities all afternoon leading up to the actual zombie walk which takes place from 4pm to 5:15pm.
It’s free for everyone and no registration is needed. One warning though, if you plan to dress up as Rick Grimes or other Walking Dead characters, you won’t be allowed to carry weapons (real or fake).
Zombie Afterparty
When the mob of zombified Montrealers returns to the Place des Festivals area, there will be a concert by Les Breastfeeders (starting at 5:15pm).
There will also be an outdoor screening of the movie Turbo Kid at 7pm.
See you there!
