Fast talking, sharp tongued comedian Andrew Santino opened up his popular podcast Whiskey Ginger to a live audience for the first time at Just for Laughs in Montreal. Santino is known for his Comedy Central Half-Hour stand-up special and debut album Say No More as well as acting in series and films such as Sin City Saints and I’m Dying Up Here.
With his podcast Whiskey Ginger, the comedian takes the opportunity to interview friends in and out of the entertainment industry as they reflect on deviant stories of their past. Joining Santino for the podcast taping was musician Black Thought (The Roots) and Bobby Lee (MadTV).
Comedy with no Limits
The three entertainers shared candid stories about wildly funny experiences and majorly failed performances to huge laughs from the crowd. Bobby Lee’s antics were audience interactive, ranging from kissing audience members on the mouth to heckling anyone who had to come or go. The panel had real comedy chemistry and with almost nothing off limits, Montreal audiences had an up close and personal view of some great comedy hijinx.
